Editorial- Vindhya Journal of Medical Research

Abstract

It gives us great pleasure to present the third issue of Vindhya Journal of Medical Research (VJMR), the quarterly scientific 
journal of Shyam Shah Medical College, Rewa.
Launched in 2025, our journal was conceptualized with the vision of promoting quality research and encouraging young faculty 
and students to meaningfully contribute to evidence-based medical science. With each issue, we have strived to uphold rigorous 
academic standards and provide a credible platform for scientific dialog.
We are happy to share that VJMR is now indexed in Google Scholar and Scholar 9, ensuring wider visibility and accessibility 
of the research published in our journal. Building on this momentum, we have initiated the application process for inclusion in 
the Directory of Open Access Journals and EBSCO.
Indexing is a continuous journey that reflects a journal’s quality and reach. The editorial board remains committed to 
strengthening peer review, adhering to ethical publishing practices, and maintaining timely publication schedules. These efforts 
are directed toward achieving higher indexing in reputed databases in the near future, including PubMed Central, Scopus, and 
Web of Science.
We sincerely thank our authors for their valuable contributions, our reviewers for their meticulous evaluation, and our readers 
for their constant encouragement. We also acknowledge the unwavering support of the administration of our institution in 
nurturing this academic endeavor.
