Peer Review Policy
Vijayapur Journal of Medical Research follows a double-blind peer review process to ensure the integrity, quality, and transparency of all published research.
1. Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to the journal undergo initial editorial screening to assess relevance, structure, and adherence to submission guidelines.

If deemed suitable, manuscripts are sent to two or more independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field.

Double-blind review: Authors and reviewers are not aware of each other's identities.

2. Reviewer Selection

Reviewers are selected from our editorial board or external pool based on subject matter expertise.

Authors are informed of the decision along with reviewer comments and are required to submit revised versions accordingly.
4. Plagiarism & Ethics

All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection tools.

The journal follows ICMJE and COPE guidelines for publication ethics.
5. Final Decision

The final decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief, considering reviewers’ feedback and editorial evaluation.
